Delgado Basketball traveled to Shreveport Wednesday evening for a Miss-Lou conference double header against Southern-Shreveport.

The Lady Dolphins carried a four point lead at halftime, which continued into the second half as they defeated Shreveport 71-66. Delgado was led by Raven Lyons (37 points) and Jackie Breland (12 points).

The Delgado Men fell behind Southern-Shreveport early in the game and struggled to overcome the Jaguars, losing 98-73. Melvin Davis led the scoring with 32 points, followed by Terrell Patterson with 12 points and Tyson Magee with 16 points.

Delgado will host Meridian next Wednesday in the Williamson Center.
