The Delgado Basketball teams earned their first wins of the 2014-2015 season with their respective victories over Hinds Community College in Utica, Mississippi.

The Lady Dolphins led 32-18 at half and held the lead to defeat Hinds 54-41. Tori Henderson led Delgado with 16 points. Alexis Jackson had 12. 

With the Men's game tied 66-66 with eight seconds remaining, Delgado's Markell Williams posted a three-pointer to lift the Dolphins to a 69-66 win over Hinds. Williams led the scoring with 25 points, Bobby Bissant had 15, and William Grant had 12.

The Dolphins will travel to Mobile on Thursday to face Bishop State. Delgado hosts Jones on Saturday afternoon in their home openers in the Michael Williamson Center.
