Delgado hosted Mississippi Gulf Coast Thursday evening in the Williamson Center.

The Lady Dolphins were ahead by five points at the half, but fell just short of overcoming the Lady Bulldogs in the second half of the game, falling 53-51. Moesha Moton led Delgado with 14 points.

The Delgado Men trailed 43-26 at the half and despite a hard fought second half, fell to the Bulldogs 76-66. William Grant led the Dolphin scoring with 18 points, Bobby Bissant had 15. Gulf Coast's Anfernee Hampton led the game with 22 points.

Delgado returns to the Williamson Center this Saturday, hosting Copiah-Lincoln. The Ladies' game tips off at 2:00, followed by the men's game at 4:00.
