Both Delgado Basketball team suffered losses Monday evening, the Lady Dolphins falling to Faulkner State in New Orleans, and the Men falling to Jones County in Ellisville, Mississippi.

The Lady Dolphins entered the half tied 22-22 to Faulkner State before the Sun Chiefs dominated the third and fourth periods enroute to a 56-39 win over Delgado. Erille Stewart led with 12 points and Sierra Jackson had 8 points.

The Delgado Men traveled to Ellisville, Mississippi for a road match-up against Jones County College. The Bobcats held a substancial 60-34 lead at the half before taking a 107-78 win over the Dolphins. Markel Williams and Marcel Daniels each scored 15 points, while Miles Jordan-Smart and Ray White scored 12 each.

Delgado returns to the Williamson Center this Saturday, November 21, hosting Copiah-Lincoln. The Ladies' game tips off at 1:00, followed by the Men's game at 3:00.
