Biography
Cameron Douglas Hoffman returns to the Delgado roster as a versatile sophomore who will see playing time both in the infield and outfield this season.
A 2011 graduate of Archbishop Rummel High School in Metairie, Cameron was a four-year letterman on the Raider baseball team, along with teammate Taylor Migliore. At Rummel, Cameron batted .305 and .375 during his respective junior and senior seasons, during which he earned All-District and All-State Honorable Mention honors. He also participated in the Dizzy Dean World Series as a 15-year-old.
Last season, he batted .356 for the Dolphins, appearing in 28 games.
Born on July 21, 1993, Cameron is the son of Douglas and Beth Hoffman with one brother, Cory, a Delgado Baseball alumnus. Cameron is a business major at Delgado.
