Hains joined the Delgado family in October 2018 after most recently working as International Trainer with the Chinese Olympic Committee in Beijing, China since March of 2018. Prior to her work in China, she served as Assistant Athletic Trainer at Webber International University.
In May 2014, Hains earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Athletic Training from Albion College in Albion, Michigan. During her time at Albion, she was a member of the Brits' basketball program for four years. She served as an Assistant Teacher of clinical techniques and Head Student Athletic Trainer, also serving as a student mentor for athletic training students. She worked department-wide and served as the Head Trainer for baseball, lacrosse, and volleyball.
Following her bachelor's degree, she moved on to Louisiana Tech in Ruston, where she provided coverage for women's soccer and women's bowling as a sports medicine graduate assistant. In May 2017, Hains earned her Master's degree in Kinesiology with a specialization in Sports Administration.
Nugent is certified by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer and holds certfications in IASTM, CPR, AED, and First Aid. She is a member of the National Athletic Training Association. She is married to Beau Hains and the couple resides in Metairie.
