Michael Tullier is in his fourteenth season as Assistant Baseball Coach at Delgado. Tullier joined the Dolphins’ staff in the fall of 2010 following a 26-year career as a professional scout for Major League Baseball. During his tenures with the Chicago Cubs and most recently the Baltimore Orioles, Mike discovered several future baseball stars such as Jay Powell, Tommy Davis, David Dellucci, B.J. Wazgis, Eli Whiteside, Bob McCrory, Mike Fontenot and Ryan Adams.

Tullier was a standout athlete at Ecole Classique School in Metairie, where he graduated in 1980. He moved on to Nicholls State University, where he earned his B.S. in Buisness Administration. While at Nicholls, he was also a four-year letterman with the Colonels’ baseball program, during which he received numerous athletic honors as an outfielder including Most Valuable Player and Leading Hitter. In 1989, he was inducted into the Colonel Athletic Hall of Fame. In 2003, he was inducted into the New Orleans Diamond Club Hall of Fame.

Mike and his wife, Terry have three children (John-Michael, Allison, and Lucy)  and reside in River Ridge.
