Pearl River's one-point lead at halftime was expanded in the second half, as the Lady Wildcats took a 61-40 win over the Lady Dolphins. Delgado was led by Claudia Tasker with 9 points as the Dolphins fell to 1-8 on the season.
The Delgado Men rallied past a nearly game-long defecit, taking the lead with 5:52 remaining on Melvin Davis' three-point shot. Delgado would hold the Wilcats for the remainder of the game, capturing an exciting 84-81 victory to improve to 9-1 on the year.
Delgado travels to Mississippi Delta on Saturday for a 2:00 doubleheader.
