DCC drops Miss-Lou match-up at Meridian

Delgado dropped a Miss-Lou conference doubleheader Saturday night at Meridian Community College.

The Women trailed at halftime and never gained the lead, falling to the Eagles 81-71. Claudia Tasker led with 19 points, Jackie Breland and Kayla Jackson had 14 and Ciara Auguillard had 13.

The Men held the lead through 1:29 remaining in the game, but fell to Meridian 80-74 for their third conference loss. Richard Bienvenu had 24 points (six three-pointers) and Rashaun Claiborne scored 21.
