Southern-Shreveport swept Delgado in a Miss-Lou Conference doubleheader on Wednesday in Shreveport.
 
In the Women’s game, Southern-Shreveport led at the half and never lost control of the game, defeating the Lady Dolphins 64-55. Kayla Jackson was Delgado’s leading scorer.
 
The Dolphin Men fell behind early and never gained the lead enroute to their 73-65 Miss-Lou Conference loss to the Port City Jaguars. Rashaun Claiborne led the Dolphins with 23 points, along with Jauries Thomas, who had 21 points.
 
The Dolphins continue Miss-Lou Conference play this Saturday with a doubleheader at Baton Rouge Community College.
