Delgado split its Miss-Lou conference doubleheader against Baton Rouge Community College on Wednesday evening at the Michael Williamson Center.
The Lady Dolphins led by seven points at the half and went on to take the 59-53 victory over the Bears. Kayla Jackson led with 19 points, scoring 17 in the second half. Andralina Marshell followed with 11 points as the Dolphins.
Despite a late second half surge, the Delgado men fell in the final seconds of the game, trailing Baton Rouge 64-62. Rashaun Claiborne led the scoring with 21 points and Jauries Thomas had 13.
