Delgado dropped its Basketball doubleheader against Jones County on Monday night at the Williamson Center.

In the Ladies' game, the Lady Dolphins trailed by five at the half and couldn't overcome the Bobcat lead, falling 55-33. Nytiana Joseph led the squad with 12 points. Kadija Garner had 9.

The Delgado Men, trailed by one at the half and battled throughout the second half, eventually falling to Jones 83-70. Ralston Morris scored 25 and Reginald Pitts scored 22 points en route to Delgado's third loss of the season.

The Dolphins will travel to Wesson, Mississippi on Thursday for a match-up against Copiah-Lincoln. Delgado returns to the Williamson Center this Saturday for a home doubleheader against Bishop State. Ladies tip off at 2:00, followed by the Men's game at 4:00. Please note the time change from the original schedule.
