Delgado Basketball opened conference play Wednesday evening in the Williamson Center, hosting Baton Rouge Community College.

The Lady Dolphins trailed by three at the half, later slipping 77-71 to the Bears. Miracle Irving led the Delgado offense with 19 points and 6 rebounds. Taylor Thomas had 16 with 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Delgado will travel to Eunice Saturday.

The Delgado Men dominated in a 70-50 win over Baton Rouge. Oren Bowens had 23 points and Khalil Awogboro had 22 points and 8 rebounds. Amir Rios score 12 points with 11 rebounds and 10 defensive rebounds. Delgado will host Southern Shreveport next Wednesday.
