Biography

Evan Lain Chacon joins the Dolphins for his freshman season.

A 2012 graduate of Grace King High School, Chacon was a four-year letterman on the Fighting Irish baseball team and a two-year football letterman. During his time with the Irish, he earned All-District honors following each of his four seasons. Following his senior season, during which he posted a 7-2 record on the mound with a .494 batting average, he received Honorable Mention All-State status.  

Born on July 27, 1994, Evan is the son of Rafael and Samatha Chacon of Metairie. He has one brother, Eric.
