Biography

Josh makes his second appearance on the Delgado roster as a sophomore member of the pitching staff.

Wood is a 2010 graduate of Brother Martin High School, where he was a three-year letterman on the Crusader baseball team and was a member of the 2008 District Championship team and the 2009 American Legion State Championship squad.

Last season, Wood made 15 appearances on the mound, posting a 3-2 win/loss record during 26 innings pitched. Josh was a part of the Dolphins' 2011 Miss-Lou Conference Championship team and the South Central District Runners-up.

Born November 19, 1991, Josh is the son of Dione Polizzi-Wood and has two sisters, Kaitlin and Elizabeth. He is a business major at Delgado.
