Delgado defeated SUNY Adirondack 18-1 Thursday evening in the opening day of the 2014 "Rags" Scheuermann Memorial Tournament, hosted by Delgado at Kirsch-Rooney Stadium. The Dolphins scored two in the first, three runs in the second, eight in the third inning, and five in the fourth in route to their 18-1 win, determined by the ten run rule. Delgado starter Brooks Vial went the distance, pitching four innings and allowing two hits, an unearned run, and striking out thirteen as the Dolphins improved to 4-1 overall.

Delgado will play two games on Friday, facing Pensacola State 4:30 and SUNY Adirondack at 7:00. Pensacola and SUNY will play at 2:00 p.m. in day two of the "Rags" Scheuermann Memorial.
