Box Score Delgado defeated Snead State Wednesday afternoon at John Ryan Stadium in game two of the teams' mid-week series.

The Dolphins' first run of the game came in the 1^st inning when Robbie Podorsky reached on a leadoff walk, advanced on a wild pitch and an error, and scored on a Owen Magee's sacrifice fly. In the 2^nd, Dylan Weston walked, stole second, advanced on a groundout, and scored on a sacrifice fly by Christian Volion. In the 4^th inning, Brandt Broussard tripled and scored on a single by Robbie Podorsky for Delgado's third and final run of the game enroute to Delgado's 3-0 victory. Jace Nini and CJ Avrard combined for the four-hit shutout on the mound with Avrard receiving the win.

Delgado and Snead State will meet in a doubleheader on Thursday to close out the series. First pitch at John Ryan Stadium is set for noon.

Delgado (23-9) was also ranked #19 in the nation in the first NJCAA poll of the season, released Wednesday by the National Junior College Athletic Association.
