Box Score EUNICE, LOUISIANA - Delgado split Saturday's doubleheader against LSU-Eunice, falling in game one 10-4 before defeating the Bengals 5-3 in the second game.

In game one, Daniel Lahare tripled in the first inning and scored on Owen Magee's groundout. Eunice scored three in the third on three RBI singles. Delgado added a run in the sixth when Lahare reached on an infield error and scored on a single by Owen Magee. LSU-Eunice answered with three more runs on five hits in the sixth. In the Delgado eighth, Lahare and Magee reached on singles and scored on an erred throw and a groundout before Eunice added two more runs in the bottom of the inning to close their 10-4 win over the Dolphins. Evan Hileman suffered the loss on the mound with Seth Dreux in relief.

In game two, Delgado took an early 3-0 lead in the first when Daniel Lahare reached on a fielder's choice, scoring on a single by Owen Magee. Spencer Miller tripled and scored on an overthrow. Hunter Feduccia singled to score two Bengal runs in the third. In the fourth, Chip Bonua singled to score Brandt Broussard (who doubled) for a fourth Delgado run. In the fifth, Owen Magee reached on a fielder's choice, and advanced on three consecutive walks to score Delgado's fifth run. LSU-E threatened by adding a run in the fifth on Turner Francis' double before Delgado closed the game with a 5-3 victory. Jace Nini pitched the complete game to earn the win on the mound for Delgado.

Delgado (25-11) and LSU-Eunice (40-2) will meet a 1:00 Sunday to close out the series.
