Delgado Baseball has introduced its Fall 2021 roster and schedule ahead of the first games of its fall season Friday, when the Dolphins travel to Lafayette. The fall schedule is off to a delayed start as a result of Hurricane Ida and its impacts on the region over the past month. 

The Dolphins' fall roster features a mix of returning and incoming talent with players hailing from twenty-three Louisiana high schools in twenty-two hometowns across the state. The team includes fourteen players in their first year with the program and the rest of the squad returning for their second, and in some cases third year due to the pandemic-induced expanded eligibility requirements. 

Delgado's fall schedule will consist of five dates and ten scrimmage games against familiar opponents throughout the month of October, including trips to Lafayette, Louisiana, Jackson, Mississippi, and Natchitoches, Louisiana. The Dolphins will host Nunez Community College and Xavier University at "Rags" Scheuermann Field at Kirsch-Rooney Stadium later in the month pending post-Hurricane Ida repairs.

Delgado's Spring 2022 schedule will open Friday, February 4-Sunday, February 6 when the Dolphins travel to Panama City Beach, Florida to participate in the Panama City Beach NJCAA Classic.
