Delgado Basketball hosted Southern-Shreveport Wednesday in conference matchups in the Williamson Center.  

The Lady Dolphins fell 69-66 in a game that came down to the final buzzer. Miracle Irving and Jamia Singleton each had 20 points. Armani Gordon had 13 rebounds.

The Delgado Men led by a point at the half before Southern Shreveport went on a 35-7 run to lead by fourteen. The Dolphins answered with a 23-4 run to regain the lead with 9:22 remaining and never trailed again in their 78-72 win. Major Gorgone had 24 points and Lionel Larvadian had 20.

Delgado will host Baton Rouge Saturday in the Williamson Center with the Women's game tipping at 2:00 followed by the Men's game at 4:00.
