LSU-Eunice scored three runs in the eighth and four runs in the ninth to take a 9-2 win over Delgado Saturday in Game 4 of the 2026 NJCAA Region XXIII Division I Tournament at Segnette Field in Westwego.
The Bengals took a 2-0 lead on a homerun by Marshall Louque and a double by Caleb Hastings in the second inning. In the sixth, Delgado's Frank Randol reached on a single, stole second, and scored on a two run homerun by Everett Denny that tied the game 2-2 through six innings. LSU-Eunice sent nine batters to the plate in the eighth to plate three runs on six hits and sent nine batters to the plate in the ninth inning to add four runs on four hits to take the eventual 9-2 win.
Delgado starter Aidan Grab pitched 7.2 innings, surrendering the go-ahead runs in the eighth inning with Bryce Pitts and Caleb Mitchell appearing in relief to close the game.
As a result, Delgado will play Baton Rouge Community College at 2pm Sunday in an elimination game. The winner will return to face LSU-Eunice in the championship round at 6pm at Segnette Field.
