Logan Jones’ sacrifice fly and Brady Williamson’s double in the top of the first scored Sean McMullen and Bubby Riley, who each reached base on singles to give Delgado and early 2-0 lead over St. Charles Community College. Williamson scored in the 5^th on Cameron Hoffman’s RBI single. Hoffman would score on a wild pitch to close the scoring at 4-0 and allow for the Dolphin victory. Pierce Liberta picked up another win on the mound, pitching a complete game shutout.

Delgado answered St. Charles’ early 3-0 lead with three runs in the bottom of the 1^st. The Dolphins picked up two additional runs in the 5^th on Daniel Brockhoeft’s triple to secure their 5-3 win over the Cougars. Brady Hitt got the win on the mound as Delgado improves to 16-6 on the season.

Delgado will face Moraine Valley in a Thursday afternoon matinee at 2:00 at Kirsch-Rooney Stadium.
