Dolphins fall to Bears in 5-4 Saturday's Rubber Match

Delgado dropped Sunday’s rubber game to Baton Rouge Community College 5-4 at Pete Goldsby Field.

The Bears scored two runs in the 3^rd on RBI singles by James Rachal and a sacrifice fly by Jesse Buratt and never trailed as the Dolphins left the tying run on base in the 7^th, 8^th, and 9^th. Delgado was led offensively by Logan Jones (2 for 3) with a homerun and an RBI and Brady Williamson (1 for 3) with a homerun and an RBI. Brady Hitt picked up his second loss of the season on the mound as Delgado fell to 20-12 on the 2012 campaign.

Delgado returns home Monday for a single, 9-inning game against Copiah-Lincoln at 6:00 at Kirsch-Rooney Stadium.
