In the first game, Cody Farrell's walkoff homerun lifted Delgado to a 3-2 victory over Kishwaukee. Delgado took an early 2-0 lead in the third inning on Cameron Hoffman's RBI triple (which scored Brady Williamson) and Austin Barrois' RBI single. Kishwaukee tied the score in the fourth following a balk and a single and the score remained tied until Farrell's homer, his first of the season. Delgado starter Chase Hymel pitched six and two-thirds innings, striking out thirteen batters and walking only two. Kyle Deckwa got the win, pitching the final third of the Kishwaukee seventh before the Delgado victory.
In game two, an eleven-run sixth inning saw nine Delgado hits, including a three-run homerun by Bubby Riley, three consecutive doubles, and three consecutive singles as Delgado closed in on their eventual 17-4 win over Kishwaukee. Delgado led 6-2 before the offensive explosion, having scored a run in the second, three in the third, and two in the fifth inning. John DeArmond earned the win on the mound for the Dolphins, pitching five and a third innings, walking one and striking out four to earn his third win of the season on the hill.
