Baton Rouge scored two runs in each of the first two innings of game two to take an early 4-0 lead over the Dolphins. Delgado answered in the fourth by cutting the lead to a run. In the fifth, Cameron Hoffman's leadoff walk, Brady Williamson's single, and Riley's walk loaded the bases before Cameron Hoffman's two-run double gave the Dolphins the lead for good. Austin Barrois' sacrifice fly plated the sixth and final run of the day to give Delgado the 6-4 win. Brandon Shearman got the win on the mound in relief of starter Pierce Liberta, with Kyle Deckwa earning the save his seventh inning appearance.
