Box Score The top team in the nation bowed out of the 2013 campaign in a 3-1 loss to Connors State College in the championship round of the South Central District Regional in Warner, Oklahoma.

Connors State scored the first two runs of the game in the second inning following two back-to-back walks to lead off the inning, followed by and RBI single and ground out. An infield error in the fourth inning plated Connors State's Morales, who reached base with a double to lead off the inning.

Delgado's lone run of the game crossed the plate in the sixth inning when Luke Voiron's sacrifice fly scored Brady Williamson, who led off the inning with a double. Delgado starter Chase Hymel got the loss on the mound for the Dolphins.

With the loss, Connors State advances to the Junior College World Series. Delgado closes their 2013 season with a 47-11 record and the #1 spot in this week's National NJCAA poll.
