Delgado dropped an 11-1 decision in 6 innings Sunday, falling to Nunez in game four of the weekend conference series at Noel Suarez Stadium in Chalmette.

Nunez capitalized on three Dolphin errors and two-RBI hits by Logan Coley and Jackson Waller to score five runs in the first inning. Five additional runs came on five singles and two errors in the fifth inning before a walkoff single in the bottom of the sixth gave the Pelicans the mercy rule win. Delgado's sole run came on an RBI single by Ruben Ramirez in the fourth to score Frank Randol, who walked to lead off the inning. Jacob Heiden pitched 4.2 innings with Bryce Pitts facing the final ten batters of the game. 

Delgado (28-12, 13-3) will travel to Eunice next weekend for a four game series against LSU-Eunice.
