Delgado Community College Athletics remembers and celebrates the life of Ms. Emma Scheuermann, a longtime fan and friend of the Dolphins who passed away on Monday, May 12. Emma was the daughter of program founder Louis "Rags" Scheuermann and the sister of Athletic Director/Head Baseball Coach Joe Scheuermann. As such, she has been a constant supporter, volunteer, and friend to generations of Delgado players, staff, families, fans, and friends and a very familiar face at Kirsch-Rooney Stadium. Please join us in expressing our sympathies to Emma's family, friends, and celebrating the many lives she impacted over the years as a cherished member of our Dolphin family.

Services will be held on Monday, May 19 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 611 State Street, New Orleans. Visitation will take place from 9am-noon with a funeral mass to follow at noon.
