Delgado opened its 2026 Disney Spring Training Invitational appearance with a doubleheader sweep of Genesee Community College Wednesday night at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World, taking a 8-1 win in game one and a 14-4 mercy rule win in game two.

In game one, Riley Rowell's RBI single in the first inning scored Frank Randol, who reached on a double. Sebastian Rhoades scored on a wild pitch in the second inning and Jack Marcantel walked and later scored on an RBI single by Joe Monaghan before a bases loaded walk plated Monaghan to expand the Dolphins' lead to 4–0. In the third, another anothe RBI single by Monaghan scored Sebastian Rhoades, who reached on a walk. Lenny Cline reached on a single, later scoring on a sacrifice fly by Gavin Kennedy. Frank Randol reached on a double and scored on an RBI single by Dominick Letort Delgado's eighth and final run. Genesee's sole run came on a sacrifice fly in the sixth before Delgado closed its 8-1 win. Jacob Heiden went distance on the mound, pitching seven innings, striking out six and facing four above the minimum to earn the win.

Dominick Letort's solo home run in the first marked the first run of game two. Riley Rowell singled and scored on a triple by Everett Denny. Denny scored on a single by Sebastian Rhoades to give Delgado the  3–0 lead through one complete inning. In the second, Delgado sent eleven to the plate combining for six runs on seven hits, including an RBI double by Frank Randol, and RBI singles by Dominick Letort, Joe Monaghan, and Sebastian Rhoades. Frank Randol homered in the third. Genesse scored a running in the third and three runs in the fifth following three consecutive singles. Delgado answered with four runs in the fifth, including a game ending two run single by Joe Monaghan to give Delgado the 14–4 mercy rule win in five innings. Jude Tingstrom earned the win with Trey Turnage facing the final three Genesee batters.

Delgado will play Waubonsee College in a 1:00 doubleheader Thursday at the ESPN Wide World of Sports.
