Dolphins complete Disney sweep with Friday wins over Westchester

Delgado defeated Westchester College 10-1 and 12-2 Friday to sweep the Dolphins' six game appearance in the 2026 Disney Spring Training Invitational at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Frank Randol doubled in the first before advancing on a groundout by Dominick Letort and scoring on a single by Riley Rowell. Rowell advanced on a throwing error and scored on a single by Everett Denny to give Delgado the early 2-1 lead. Jack Marcantel doubled to open the Delgado second, scoring on a double by Gavin Kennedy. Kennedy advanced on a wild pitch and scored on a single by Frank Randol. In the third, Riley Rowell walked, advanced on a single by Everett Denny, and scored on a bases loaded walk by Joe Monaghan. Sebastian Rhoades walked before Cooper Burch's two run single expanded the Delgado lead to five. Dominick Letort walked to open the Dolphin fourth, scoring on a triple by Riley Rowell. Rowell scored on a sacrifice fly by Everett Denny. In the fifth, Cooper Burch walked, advanced on a balk, and scored on a pinch hit single by Eli Lirette to close the Dolphins' 10-1 win. Brandon Kragle picked up the win, pitching seven innings, allowing one run and striking out nine.

Westchester's Freddy Haymath homered in the first at-bat of the game to take the early 1-0 lead. Frank Randol walked in the bottom of the first, advanced on a single by Dominick Letort and a balk, and scored on a sacrifice fly by Riley Rowell to tie the game 1-1. Sebastian Rhodes doubled to open the second inning and scored on a single by Joe Monaghan. Delgado added a run in the third when Riley Rowell walked and scored on a double by Everett Denny. In the fourth, Jack Marcantel doubled and scored on a single by Lenny Cline. Gavin Kennedy reached as a hit batter, advanced on a single by Frank Randol, stole third, and scored on a sacrifice fly by Dominick Letort. In the fifth, Sebastian Rhoades reached on a walk before the Dolphins reached on four consecutive singles, including a two run single by Kennedy. Dominick Letort doubled, advanced on a walk by Denny and scored on a single by Sebastian Rhoades to plate Delgado's twelfth and final run in the 12-2 mercy rule decision in five innings.
Bryce Pitts pitched 4.1 innings and struck out seven to earn the win with Chase Williamson facing the final three Westchester batters.

With the wins, Delgado completes the sweep of all six games in its 2026 Disney Spring Training Invitational, outscoring its opponents 70-10 in six games over the past three days. The Dolphins will open conference play in a three game series against Nunez Community College beginning next Friday at "Rags" Scheuermann Field at Kirsch-Rooney Stadium.
