Delgado swept Waubonsee Community Community College in Thursday's doubleheader, taking a 10-0 mercy rule win in game one and a 16-2 mercy rule win in game two in the Disney Spring Training Invitational Tournament.

In game one, Frank Randol's groundout scored Gavin Kennedy for the game's first run in the first inning. Three consecutive singles by Frank Randol, Dominick Letort, and Riley Rowell expanded the lead to 4-0 through two innings. In the third, the Dolphins send ten batters to the plate to combine for six runs on four hits, included sacrifice fly balls by Joe Monaghan and Frank Randol and a three run triple by Riley Rowell. A balk scored Rowell for the game's tenth and final run enroute to the 10-0 mercy rule win in five innings. Starting pitcher Giancarlo Arencibia picked up the win, pitching a five inning shutout while allowing three hits and striking out eight while only facing three batters over the minimum.

Gavin Kennedy's two run single and a triple by Frank Randol gave the Dolphins an early 3-0 lead in game two. Delgado bats combined for seven runs on five hits in the third, including a two run double by Sebastian Rhoades and a two run single by Riley Rowell. Six more runs followed in the fourth coming off RBI singles by Joe Monaghan, Jackson Monica, and Frank Randol. A fielder's choice allowed Dominick Letort to score the sixteenth and final run in the 16-2 mercy rule win in five innings. Aidan Grab earned the win, pitching five innings, allowing one earned run and striking out seven.

Delgado will host Westchester College in a 10:30 am doubleheader Friday to round out its twentieth annual Disney Spring Training appearance at the ESPN Wide World of Sports.
